Pollution levels in India are going off the charts these days. Not only our capital Delhi is suffering with higher pollution levels and poor air quality index, almost all of India is. We need to safe guard ourselves from the impurities in all possible ways. Our respiratory organs and skin suffer the most. While we can wear masks to prevent inhaling impurities in the air, our skin needs extra protection too. In today's review, I'm going to talk about one such antipollution cream from organic riot. Organic riot is one of the India’s first 100% vegetarian skincare brands and is Ecocert® approved. If you are looking to buy organic products, Ecocert certificated products are the one to go.

Review of Organic riot smog-block™ antipollution cream with natural SPF:
The product comes in a light blue and black cardboard box. The actual product is also packed in a light blue and black pump tube, with stripes pattern on them, which I love. All of their products come in a striped tube packaging. I might just buy them all for the cute packaging😜😜😜

You need a good 15-20 pump initially to dispense the product. The consistency is creamy and needs just a small pump. I have extremely dry skin and a very little amount of product is actually enough for me. If I apply a bit more than usual, it feels heavy on my skin and I start sweating. So, only a tiny bit of product is enough. It gets absorbed into the skin well and gives a primed up feel. The cream is good to be used as a primer and you can apply the foundation over it.

The product is enriched with so many natural ingredients like rosehip oil, kokum butter and also hyaluronic acid which can hold/retain water 1000 times of its weight. It surely is hydrating to skin. The cream has a pleasant fragrance which is soothing and therapeutic and not all overpowering. Believe me I can’t stand strong fragrances and this cream smells awesome and makes me want to smell my skin.

The product claims to protect from blue light damage i.e., digital screen light which we are exposed to almost 10 hours a day. On prolonged exposure it can lead to skin damages, fine lines and pigmentation. The product contains natural spf which protects the skin from digital lights and the organic riot official website suggests to layer up the smog block with a sunscreen while going out.

Overall the smog block cream is a product that should be included in our skincare routine to safeguard our skin from pollution damage and I totally recommend it.

How do I rate it? 4/5.

Thumbs up for:
Ecocert certified product.
Natural, organic ingredients.
Protects from pollution.
Protects from blue light/digital screen light damage.
Works as primer and can be layered with foundation.
Moisturises skin well.
Smells soothing and therapeutic.
Cute packaging.

Thumbs down for:
Pricey (justifiable because of organic ingredients).
Spf is good enough only for indoors and to protect from digital lights. Need to layer with proper sunscreen while going outdoor.
Feels heavy on skin if applied more than necessary.

Conclusion:
What do you do to protect your skin from pollution and also let me know the your views on smog blockcream? Please do let me know in the comments and also how useful you find my reviews to be. Will be back soon with another review. XOXO.

Nykaa Skin Secrets Sheet mask-Rice+Camelia Review

Review By Dhivya Samyraj Skin type : normal to dry skin Skin tone : dusky deep skin tone with slight pigmentation. Indian market is saturated with sheet masks from various Korean brands, but there aren’t many Indian brands when it comes to this niche. Nykaa recently jumped in the Sheet masks bandwagon with 11 variants. I bought 7 masks when there was sale going on Nykaa website. Do grab them when there is a sale going on, always, so you get to buy the product and also save money. Read on to know more about the rice + camelia sheet mask.
