Indian market is saturated with sheet masks from various Korean brands, but there aren’t many Indian brands when it comes to this niche. Nykaa recently jumped in the Sheet masks bandwagon with 11 variants. I bought 7 masks when there was sale going on Nykaa website. Do grab them when there is a sale going on, always, so you get to buy the product and also save money. Read on to know more about the rice + camelia sheet mask.

Review of Nykaa Sheet mask in Rice+Camelia variant:

The sheet mask comes packed in a plastic pouch which has cute rose and rice picture in the front and all the necessary details like price, ingredients, how to use etc. in the back. A single sheet mask retails for Rs.100 for 12 ml of the product, which is like a standard price for the other sheet masks available in the market. The shelf life of the sheet mask is 36 months which is quite a time period for the usage of the mask. It is easy to carry in your bag.

Once you open the packet you can find the sheet mask folded inside it completely drenched in the serum. The sheet is absolutely thin and need caution as you unfold it. The serum has a silky texture to it and the fragrance was pleasant and nice, not at all overpowering. The packet has some serum which can be used later for massaging the skin.

I unfolded the mask really carefully and applied it on my face and rested for about 15-20 minutes, not more than that. The serum gave a cooling sensation and got absorbed to my skin really fast. The sheet mask comes loose from the skin as it dries down. Once all the serum from the mask got absorbed into the skin I removed it and massaged in the remaining serum from the pack on to my face and neck.

My skin felt super supple, cool and hydrated (and I have really dry skin). I couldn’t find any radiance as the product claimed but it was nourishing. The hydration lasted for a day, clearly you can’t expect more from a sheet mask. For better results use it before going to bed and wake up with nourished and hydrated skin.

Although it contains alcohol, it didn’t dry out my skin. So, not a con for me.

Conclusion:

Sheet masks are best to use before any occasion or when you under a time constraint or when you have to go on an unexpected date, just apply it on relax for 15 minutes and your skin is ready.
