Lakme Winter Intense Maximum Moisturiser Review

Skin type: normal to dry skin
Review by: Dhivya Samyraj

Hi everyone,
Moisturisers are a must during the winters. With the winters getting harsher everyday our skin suffers the most. Our skin dries down fast in winter months due to the cold dry winds. The dry air around us sucks the moisture from our skin and makes it dry and cracked. So it is important to keep our skin moisturised most of the time to avoid irritation of the skin. Today I am going to review Lakme winter intense maximum moisturiser. Let us get on with the review.

Review of Lakme Winter Intense Maximum Moisturiser:
The product comes packed in a white cardboard with silver accents, which houses the moisturiser bottle. The bottle is also a pearly white with silver accent plastic bottle. The cardboard box contains all the details printed on its sides. The bottle has a flip cap which shuts with a click. The cap is tight enough and doesn’t leak any product. So, it is travel friendly and easy to carry around in your bag.

The top of the bottle has a small opening and when squeezed it dispenses enough product for face and neck application. The moisturiser is a thick in consistency. It is neither too thick nor too flowy. The moisturiser is white in colour and has an awesome fragrance. I love the fragrance very much, it is so pleasant and not overpowering.

When applied the moisturiser gives a cooling effect and gets absorbed into the skin instantly. You don’t have to work it in to get it absorbed. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my skin. My skin gets so dry in winter that it gets cracked easily. When I apply this moisturiser my skin absorbs it like a thirsty dog. I usually sweat a lot when I apply a moisturiser or a face cream, but this moisturiser doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and it didn’t cause sweating. It lasts on my skin for about 5 to 6 hours if I stay indoors and less than 4 hours if outdoor. It lasts on my skin all night if applied in night and I wake up to a soft, smooth and hydrated skin in the morning.

As it is light, I apply it before makeup and my skin remains hydrated. Overall, I like thus moisturiser very much and would love to repurchase it again.

How do I rate it? 5/5.

Functional packaging.
Affordable.
Moisturises and hydrates skin.
Doesn’t feel sticky or tacky.
Feels light on skin and gets absorbed soon.
Pleasant fragrance.
Easily available.

Thumbs down for:
Nope. None for me.

Conclusion: I’d recommend and repurchase this moisturiser for sure. I feel as if Lakme has tailor-made this moisturiser for my skin. It is a very good moisturiser that is affordable and easily available. What is your HG moisturiser? Share it with me in comments. Also leave your feedback about this review. Thank you. XOXO..

Nykaa Skin Secrets Sheet mask-Rice+Camelia Review

Review By Dhivya Samyraj Skin type : normal to dry skin Skin tone : dusky deep skin tone with slight pigmentation. Indian market is saturated with sheet masks from various Korean brands, but there aren’t many Indian brands when it comes to this niche. Nykaa recently jumped in the Sheet masks bandwagon with 11 variants. I bought 7 masks when there was sale going on Nykaa website. Do grab them when there is a sale going on, always, so you get to buy the product and also save money. Read on to know more about the rice + camelia sheet mask.
