Product claims: A purifying pack that helps to regulate excess oil secretion cleans clogged pores and prevents the recurrence of pimples. Neem, well-known for its purifying and anti-bacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples and their recurrence. Combined with turmeric, it helps control acne causing bacteria. Fuller’s earth (multani mitti) cools and soothes the skin, improving skin texture and leaving you with clear, problem-free skin.

Key ingredients: Fuller’s earth, neem, turmeric. Inactives: Sodium methylparaben IP, Sodium propylparaben IP, Imidazolidinyl urea, DMDM Hydantoin.

Direction: Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes. Remove with a wet sponge and wash with cool water. Use once or twice a week. Do not apply on broken or inflamed skin. May cause a tingling sensation due to active herbal ingredients, which is normal.

Review of Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack:
The product comes in an inverted tube packaging. The packaging is the usual Himalaya signature packaging which is white and green coloured one. The tube has a flip cap which is fixed to the tube. It is not a screw on cap. My sister accidentally pulled the cap and we couldn’t put it back on easily. We had to struggle and then somehow my brother managed to put it on. So be careful while opening it. Use the flip cap only and do not, I repeat, do not pull out the cap as it is difficult to put it back on. Other than that it is a functional packaging. I haven’t faced any leak from the tube and the flip cap shuts with a click.

When squeezed the product comes out of the tube. It is dark green in colour and spreads on the wet skin well. It is mentioned on the tube that the pack is for normal to oily skin. It has a rough texture and a pleasant herbal fragrance which I like the most. The smell won’t be a problem for sensitive nose people as the smell is mild. It goes on smoothly over the skin and takes up to 5 to 7 minutes to dry. But that depends on how much product you apply on your skin.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack Review

As mentioned on the pack I applied it on my face and neck and let it dry for 15 minutes. After which I applied a little bit of water on it and rubbed it in circular motion. As the face pack is a little bit textured it gave a nice scrubbing effect on my face and neck. Then I splashed some cold water and washed it off. I patted dry with a soft towel to a bright and clear skin. The fragrance lingered on the skin for a few minutes. The skin definitely looked brighter and clearer after removing the face pack. The oiliness was gone and the skin was smoother than before. I absolutely like this neem pack and I would try it again on my neck because the neck is oilier than my face, comparatively and I had to moisturise my face after removing this pack.

For oily skinned beauties this face pack is a boon. It removes oil and sweat on the skin as it claims. Dry skinned beauties please stay away from it as it is clearly mentioned on the tube that the pack is for normal to oily skin. I cannot comment on how it performs on acne and pimples because I don’t have them. If you have used this neem pack please let me know in comment how it fared on acne prone skin.

How do I rate it? 5/5.

Thumbs up for:
Tube packaging, easy to carry in bag.
Budget friendly.
Removes oil and sweat.
Herbal ingredients.
Antibacterial properties.
Pleasant fragrance.
Dries quickly.

Thumbs down for:
None. The product does all it claims. So there is a no con for me.

Conclusion: The Himalaya herbals purifying neem pack is an awesome product for you if you have oily skin. It is better to moisturise your after using the pack. I’d recommend it to all the oily skinned beauties. It clears the oil and sweat, makes the skin brighter, smoother and clearer. Don’t forget to post your comment about the review. Also, let me know if the neem pack controls acne and pimples on acne prone skin.
Thank you. :-* :-*
