Review of
Coloressence compact powder:
The
compact comes packed in a rectangular matte black cardboard carton which is the
signature packaging for all Coloressence products. The compact is a transparent
circular one. The shade is clearly visible through the top. It comes with its
own puff which can be used for touch ups. I always use a powder brush to apply
the compact. Although the compact is sturdy it may break if you drop it. The
flip side of the pan has a small mirror.
The
shade I chose is cp-3 dusky. It suits my skin tone well. It gives me good
coverage. It doesn’t accentuate dry patches.
The compact powder applies well
and doesn’t feel chalky. It has a good fragrance to it which feels refreshing
to me. I use it over foundation and also on its own. In both cases it performs
well. I have pores on my skin but this compact doesn’t show it. It controlled
my sweating. It lasts on my skin for more than 4 hours after which it fades
without being patchy.
Overall
I love this compact powder. I would recommend it to all who are searching for a
cheap and good compact powder. It doesn’t burn holes in your pocket. It’s a
win-win product.
How
do I rate it? 4/5.
