Review of VLCC Enchanting eyes Blue kohl:
The kohl comes packed in a cardboard packaging as shown in the image above. The packaging is cute and attractive with all the necessary details printed on it. The company has taken the effort of giving some eye makeup looks for the beginners on the flipside of the package which is really a great idea.
The kohl comes in a twist up pencil with a cap which has a colour coded sticker on it. So if you have few kajal or kohl in your stash it’d be easier to spot it out. The twist up mechanism works smoothly and the kohl retracts back without any damage. Make sure to retract the kajal before you put on the cap, because the cap might nick the tip of the kajal. Better safe than sorry.
Considering the fact that you don’t have to sharpen the kajal, product wastage is minimum to none. But kajal that require sharpening are more hygienic, comparatively. The cap is of flimsy plastic that it might break in your handbag.
The product shade is turquoise blue and looks very beautiful on the eyes. It is very smooth and glides on the eyes without any effort. No tugging, no pulling whatsoever. The tip might break off if you twist up too much of the product while applying. Use gentle strokes to apply otherwise you end up wasting the product. The colour payoff is 100%. It is much pigmented and a single swipe deposits the colour on the lash line. It sets very quickly and once set it doesn’t smudge or budge. I have oily lids but the kajal stays put after it has been applied and lasts long until I remove it. It doesn’t get collected in the corner of the eye.
Since it is deeply pigmented it is a task to remove. You need a good makeup remover to remove every last bit of colour from your lids. The kohl brightens up my face and enhances my eyes beautifully.
How do I rate it? 4.5/5.
Thumbs up for:

Thumbs down for:

Removing the kajal is a task.
Conclusion: VLCC Enchanting eyes blue kohl is a good cost effective kajal that performs well. It is great for beginners and people under budget. It is worth the money you pay. You get great quality for little money. If ever they restock other shades on the online shopping websites I’d grab the green and black variant too.
